I have done so many posts on names but we are now at the end and due date is tomorrow. We have it down to these two names we like them both although I prefer Jemima and dp prefers Eliza however we have both agreed that we are happy to have either. Bit of background we have a french sounding surname, and she will have 4 big brothers who have classic/ royal names.

Eliza (or Elise might go well, as you have a French-sounding surname)

ggirl · 30/06/2011 09:07

Jemima
have always loved that name
had a lovely aunt jemima
think it's classier than eliza

outthere · 30/06/2011 09:16

Definitely Eliza, was my chosen girl's name but have found out we're having a boy!

CharlieBoo · 30/06/2011 10:38

Jemima....

sparkle12mar08 · 30/06/2011 12:50

Definately Eliza, especially with 'royal' sibling names and a french csounding surname. Jemima is far from royal, very far.

lizzieloubee1 · 30/06/2011 13:52

Jemima has more nickname possibilities, but they are both lovely. [unhelpful post]

I don't think you can have one as middle name either, too many A sounds.

swash · 30/06/2011 14:22
