Your opinions please on Cassius nn Cass and Rafael nn Rafa ?
Also looking for suggestions along these lines. Uncommon but easy to pronounce and 'proper' names, ie not made up.
I also like Ezra and Evan but DH isn't keen.

I like Cassius, pronounced Cass-ee-us rather than Cash-us.

Rafael is OK but a bit frilly.

I like Cassius but not Rafael.
How about Lucien?

zaida · 22/06/2011 22:52

Was disappointed to find out Ezra is a girl's name in Persian and is DH's aunty's name Confused

I like Saul and Lucien. Will suggest them

Rafael nn Rafa is a fine, fine name. Wink

It certainly hasn't done Rafael 'Rafa' Nadal any harm!

Cassius is great. Love the nn Cass for a boy.

Hope88 · 23/06/2011 13:16

We have Rafael. It's a lovely name. We call him Raffy, not Rafa. Don't like Rafa.

FunnysInTheGarden · 23/06/2011 13:18

Rafael. We have a Raphael and call him Rafe. I don't think I have EVER called him Raphael.........

Bandwitch · 23/06/2011 13:19

Rafael. I would spell it Raphael though, as Rafael looks Spanish. Nothing wrong with that but if you're not Spanish, go with Raphael.
