Hi there ladies!
I myself am a very traditional woman from a high-class background with conservative views and friends. I'm currently pregnant with twins! Having 4 children already; Simon , Harry, Emily and Edward, I'm essentially looking for a less "common" name, I don't at all like these "new-earth" names such as Jago or tigger. I am however looking for something a little... different. What do you all think about these? -
Wichard,
Ceculle,
Samwell,
Job, (possible Joab),
Gawker,
Delphina II,
Eli,
Belle,
Beau,
Beaux,
Fant (French pronunciation)
Nathanwell (similar to Nathaniel)
or Theadore?
I look forward to getting to know you all better soon!

Your name list is truly bizarre. Some of the names are okay (which makes me think you are actually being serious!) and some of them I wouldn't even consider for a pet.

I think that Job, Belle, Beau and Theadore are nice names.

I do also find it slightly odd that you have already decided that you want your children to be quirky and yet you also say you want them to be autonomous...

I'm amazed so many people have responded to this post, it has to be a wind-up.

as ellesabe says, it's abit odd that OP wants to make her children "quirky." You can't influence their personalities really - and certainly not by giving them so called "quirky" names. Perhaps OP is a control freak. also, why list Gawker as a quirky name? it is common as shit around these parts - my milkman is called Gawker and his son is Gawker Jr.... not to mention next door's pet pig, Gawker the Porker.

Eranu · 23/06/2011 20:26

No no no no this cannot be real. God I hope it is though.

I am still laughing at Jimothy

Harry...? Harry?! Shock Surely not on the birth certificate?

I caution against Beau. It has, um, certain connotations in the American South. No good him mincing about in London society being all, 'high class', was it? only for him to arrive in America and have everyone think he's a shit-kicking red-neck.

Bandwitch · 24/06/2011 14:05

If you like Jimothy what about Jedward. They are totally high class as well. I like Jacoby too.

Fifis25StottieCakes · 24/06/2011 14:25
