Hi there ladies!
I myself am a very traditional woman from a high-class background with conservative views and friends. I'm currently pregnant with twins! Having 4 children already; Simon , Harry, Emily and Edward, I'm essentially looking for a less "common" name, I don't at all like these "new-earth" names such as Jago or tigger. I am however looking for something a little... different. What do you all think about these? -
Wichard,
Ceculle,
Samwell,
Job, (possible Joab),
Gawker,
Delphina II,
Eli,
Belle,
Beau,
Beaux,
Fant (French pronunciation)
Nathanwell (similar to Nathaniel)
or Theadore?
I look forward to getting to know you all better soon!
Delphiii!
xxxxx

Double-barrel Beau-Fant.

When I looked at anmes (4 boys so became a challenge...) Dad did this thing where he'd give himself three minutes to make up a childish rhyme, and if it passed he said it was OK (not that I listened, he was compeltely against ds2's name)

Olivander what a wanker pissing in the coriander

Sounds like something you'd hear at the boy's (surprisingly nice) school

what about?

tarquillian
rotundas
delongial

Delphiii · 22/06/2011 22:13

She is not a royal and never will be. She's a foul mouthed, social climbing, manipulative witch. Thank you for the suggestion, but Catherine Middleton, in my eyes, is a monster.

har har har, nothing but a social climber. What kind of name is Middleton, no breeding whatsoever!

missorinoco · 22/06/2011 22:14

Harsh.

culturemulcher · 22/06/2011 22:16

I've got the perfect "high class" name for you. It's out there.

It's Jedward.

Grin Grin i love this place. Gawker gets my vote.

Purplebuns · 22/06/2011 22:18

How about Torquil?

toddlerama · 22/06/2011 22:19

Gollum?

MarioandLuigi · 22/06/2011 22:21

Maybe you want an UC name for your DC because you quite obviously dont have any.

GibberingGinger · 22/06/2011 22:22

How about mixing up all the initials of your previous children and calling the twins SEESH and SEESHina. Capitals optional of course. Makes the siblings feel special and I'm sure the high classes will think it uber classy!

culturemulcher · 22/06/2011 22:22

Peachy I'm with you. Crying with laughter. This is priceless. Great OP, OP. Grin

headfairy · 22/06/2011 22:24

Fanjeau... I'm sure I've seen at least three in this years Debretts.

Delphiii · 22/06/2011 22:24

What on earth are all these acronyms? Please, somebody tell me.

OP posts:
toddlerama · 22/06/2011 22:25

I think Toddlerama has a nice ring to it.

culturemulcher · 22/06/2011 22:29

For the twins:

Woderick and Woger

PamBeesly · 22/06/2011 22:35

I think Kate or Pippa, lovely :)

shineoncrazydiam0nd · 22/06/2011 22:37

reality - I have a Teddy but he is that on his birth certificate. It is obviously the best name in the world. Im not too keen on Edward though, nor Ned. Ted or Teddy.

Delphiii · 22/06/2011 22:38

Toddlerama is terrible.
As for Woderick and Woger, brilliant, I love it!
alas, I read in a similar topic that for twins to have the same initial is a bad idea

headfairy · 22/06/2011 22:41

delphi... are the twins identical or fraternal?

Delphiii · 22/06/2011 22:43

I've been told they're not identical, bit of a relief really! I'm not good with faces, I wouldn't be able to tell them apart, I'm sure!

What about Gawkerfanteli ? That way you would be using three of your favourite names.

culturemulcher · 22/06/2011 22:46

Okay Delphiii time to unmask yourself. Who are you?

swanker · 22/06/2011 22:47

You could let the girl grow her hair, that way you'd know which was which.
