other DCs have very dull names, which in retrospect I regret, so I want a more adventurous one for this DC.

Love Violet, and i think Vivi is very sweet but really don't like Verity. Too fussy, and rather like Felicity to me. And actually think Verity Violet is a bit cutsey - sorry to be a voice of descent.

I dislike Verity, purely because its the name of the PCOS charity and so it makes me think of ovaries! Violet it gorgeous though!

Both names are brilliant,but think ahead in case you have another daughter as I used up my two fave names with my first daughter!

I love both names and the combination is delightful with Verity as a sophisticated option if she wants it when she is adult.I have a very beautiful dgd named Constance Violet[Connie] which is similar without the alliteration.
