Hi there,

I love the nn Gus. Other than Angus and Fergus, are there any other names for which you could have the nn Gus?

And is Teddy a nn for Edward or Theodore? I am never sure....

Thanks!

I have a Gus who is just Gus. We thought about Angus or Fergus but went with just Gus. However, i appreciate people have different opinions re full names and nns. Other full names could be Gustav/o or Augustus. Edwin or Edgar for Teddy.

ooh Augustus is a good idea. I actually like Angus and Fergus but it's mainly the nickname I like.

I think Edwin as well!

Augustus is lovely. Gus would be a cute nickname. Much nicer than Teddy, which I find too cutesy/comical personally.

Gus is great on its own, especially if that is what you intend to use.

Don't give him another name you don't like so much...he might just use it!

I do like Augustus though.
