My favourite this week :)

I'm pretty sure it'll be called 'twee' on here... But I love it.

Is Lucy very popular? I know of 2 under 3 yrs, but this doesn't bother me, I'm just wondering. So go crazy... Grin

I really love it. I can only think of one Lucy who is about 4.

Darnsarfupnorf · 18/06/2011 22:24

I'm a big Lucy and I love it if that helps... I have 2 kids and don't know any little Lucy's. This site hates twee (I like twee) but I don't think it's overly twee. Good luck

pooka · 18/06/2011 23:08

DD is an 8 yr old Lucy.

No other Lucys in her school (420+ children). Don't know any others in local area.

I still love the name. Primrose is very pretty too.

Tommy · 18/06/2011 23:09

very sweet! Smile

LadyWithNoManors · 18/06/2011 23:10

My DD was nearly Lucy. It's lovely Smile

ConstantVigilance · 18/06/2011 23:11

I think it's a lovely name :)

Popbiscuit · 18/06/2011 23:11

I love Lucy (!) and the Primrose part reminds me of one of my favourite children's books, "My Naughty Little Sister". The titular character has a much-loved doll called Rosy-Primrose.

bananamom · 18/06/2011 23:26

I do not find Lucy twee at all btw!

manicinsomniac · 18/06/2011 23:36

Awww, really cure, I like it.

I only know of 3-4 little Lucys so, although it ranks high, I don't think it's ridiculously popular.

DilysPrice · 18/06/2011 23:42

Pretty, unusual. Primrose is a bit marmite (though I love it) but it's only a middle name so why not.

SloganLogan · 18/06/2011 23:44

Gorgeous :)

reddaisy · 18/06/2011 23:46

Utterly lovely. Lucy is my niece's name. But other than her I don't know of any other little ones called Lucy. Now get this thread deleted or you might start a new name trend. Lucy Primrose is lovely too but very girly which is fine unless she is a tomboy.

typsical · 19/06/2011 00:30

Wow. Was not expecting such a fab response, thank you all!
Now I just need to persuade DH that it's time for DC2!! :)
Popbiscuit I was a massive MNLS fan! :)
reddaisy You've scared me! Haha. How do I delete a thread?! Grin

yes lovely!

emmanumber3 · 19/06/2011 23:21

I love the name Lucy. Can't use it myself though as my sister has one Smile.

I love Primrose too, but then I am a fan of "twee" flower names!
