Please help me with names

DD is called Alannah pronouced Al- ann- a (rhymes with Hannah not Alana rhyming with banana)

expecting dc 2, we dont know the sex.

For a boy we like Aiden

For a girl we like - Alexia
- Lydia
- Louisa

Also love the name Maia but don't want to choose another name that people struggle to pronouce or spell.

If I had a pound for every time someone has asked DDs name and i've said Alannah pronoucing it clearly Al- ann- a and they've said oh A-laah- naah I'd be rich.

would be gratful for honest oppinions and other suggestions.

Lydia is also lovely, as is Louisa both classic, elegant names Alexia is nice, It just feel's unfinished to me ..but that's just me! How about Alexandria with Alexia as a nn?

As there's also Aidan, I'm afraid (from experience), you'll still find yourself spelling it! However, it's a great name! But would you want them both to have the same initial? Otherwise:

Thanks bluechampagne, I am a little concerned about the same initial due to problems with mail when older. They would have different Intials for middle names but could still be a problem.

In an English accent the words/names are usually:
Han-nah
Ban-ahn-a

Al-ahn-a

Never heard Al-ann-a. Pretty.

Alannah comes from an Irish phrase 'A leanbh', meaning 'dear/darling child/LO', and it has the same A sound as Hannah (and banana imo). The English 'ahn' sound in the middle wouldn't be right.
