Summer?

Hello

I've got 4 weeks to go and i'm starting to panic as we haven't yet decided on a name for our little girl. every name we think of seems to have a downside. what do you think of the name Summer Elizabeth Anna? Her last name will be Kent. Is summer a chavvy name?

I liked the name Summer as a young girl but it does seem to be more common now which would put me off. I won't get into the "chav" debate.

I'm not sure it goes with your surname but I think Elizabeth Kent sounds wonderfully classic- images of Jane Austen here- and gives you a great opportunity for using the various wonderful nicknames like Betty, Betsy, Libby etc

We were going to name her Elizabeth but then someone pointed out that both mine and my boyfriends (when he had hair) hair is curly and she might get called frizzy lizzy and that really put me off. I'm starting to worry now as we really can't decide on a name!

In my experience(and I'm a curly), if you have curly hair you often get called "fuzzy" or have comments about your hair whatever your name so I wouldn't let that put you off.

I like Summer and Summer Elizabeth sounds lovely.

Anna Elizabeth is nice - can't think of a downside to that -
also no need to suffer frizzy hair these days - plenty of products that can help!

Anna is definately one of her middle names as its my best friends name. I feel like its such a big decision to make and i'm worried we'll choose the wrong name and then regret it. I seem to spend all my time at the moment either worrying about her name or panicking about having to give birth!

Summer Elizabeth Anna sounds good.

I like Summer. Although Elizabeth is my middle name and I hate it, the name order you have chosen goes well.

Summer Kent? It's not good. Too much like Summer in Kent.....

Not sure it goes with your surname, if I'm honest, but if you like it, do it.

I like Summer - have never met one in real life so it doesn't really have any particular connotations for me.

Really dislike Summer, and yes, would associate it with the chav debate, sorry. Elizabeth Anna Kent however is gorgeous - classy and classic.

Love love LOVESummer. Hate Elizabeth...but then I'm not a fan of 'classic' names.

I love the name Summer but it does come in the category of names I love but would never use, not sure why really!
