My great-Grandma's name was Alice which I quite like.

My grandparents are- Pauline and Trevor... I've forgotten my dad's parents names Blush

DH's are/were Dorothy and Jack (we like Jack for a DS middle name should we ever have one) and a Kenneth.

Poor pickings really!

Harry & Freda
Brian & Joan (uses her second name - her first is Mabel and she loathes it. It has been making me chuckle to see Mabel being discussed on here as a pretty name, knowing that my 94 yr old Gran thinks it's too ugly and dated to use!)

Mine

Wilfred and Joan
Hilda (known as Tilly) and Ambrose (known as Bill)

DH's

Katherine and Dennis Arthur
Jean and Harold Henry (then remarried Kenneth)

DSS is Henry and after we had named DS2 we discovered we'd actually given him the name of one of DH's paternal Great Grandfathers.

I've always liked Matilda nickname Tilly for a future DD rather than Hilda.

DH's: Francis (Frank) and Mae
Dorothy (Dotty) and Horace Bewick (known as Bewick - all first born boys have to have Bewick in their names. It's awesome :))
