Does anyone know when the National Statistics

will release the 2010 baby name stats??

The ONS website has a provision released date of July-August 2011.

They originally said that last year though, then they changed it to September, and then to October. The 2009 data eventually got released on 27 October 2010.

Here's hoping they do reach the July/August dates this year.

i asked this a couple of weeks ago and was told October time...... why it takes so long for statistics to be published is beyond me

I would love to know what system they are using if it takes them c9 months to put together the list... is there some poor sod sat in an office somewhere counting them by hand?!
