Georgia Emma

Georgia is decided as the first name for DD2... DH absolutely adores it.

I love the name Emma, plus it's my Gran's name, so I'd love to use it as her middle name. I also like the idea of initials being GEM (our surname begins with 'M' - and DD1's middle name is Ruby, I like the idea of a (loose) connection between the 2 names!)

Georgia Emma isn't too much of a mouthful, is it?

Both lovely names. They run together a bit (Georgia Remma), but you won't be using them both together like that once you've announced her name.

Emma Georgia would flow a bit better but I don't think that necessarily matters.

Both nice names (although am a little biased on the Emma). Sounds fine to me Grin.

Yes sounds fine I think!

mathanxiety · 07/06/2011 15:35

How about Georgia Emmeline?

valiumbandwitch · 07/06/2011 16:42

I'd go for Gemma, that sounds better than 'georgia emma'.

The names do run together a bit but I still think Georgia Emma is a very nice name.

Both nice names, but don't think they go together.

Georgia is absolutely fixed as the first name, my DH loves it so much.

It's just the run-on / rhyming I was concerned about, but it's not horrendous, is it?

what about Georgia Emily or Georgia Emilia? I don't think the rhyming thing is a problem but it's heightened by the fact that they are both 2 syllables.

On a completely different note I think Georgia Rose sounds lovely.

I absolutely LOVE Georgia and would use it if I had another DD.

How about Georgia Rose or Georgia Alice?
