Think they are all ok, are any of these names special to you, like a family name?

kreecherlivesupstairs · 31/05/2011 09:24

Really good strong name. How about Duncan though? Duncan Alastair sounds even better Wink

BlueChampagne · 31/05/2011 15:26

I think it's great and would have used it if we didn't have 2 in the family already!

curlywurlycremeegg · 31/05/2011 15:30

I like it, it's DS3's middle name.

proudfoot · 31/05/2011 19:45

None of the middle names have any special meaning - I just like them! Duncan I'm less keen on, though it's fine for someone else I couldn't imagine having one myself iyswim.

Alastair William would have been DD's name had she been a boy.

Love it!!!

lucykate · 06/06/2011 23:11

i am married to an alastair christian

basingstoke · 06/06/2011 23:11

Now I'm feeling all wistful about the boy who never was Grin

zingzillachinchilla · 06/06/2011 23:15

Just don't spell it with a 'd' in the middle - ever see the Billy Connolly sketch?? I love the name, btw, and all your options are good.

Isla77 · 07/06/2011 00:30

It is my brother's name - love it.

jojodancer · 07/06/2011 10:17

It's my brother's name & I can't bear it!

Sorry... there's nothing wrong with it at all, I just don't really like my brother Grin

JeelyPiece · 07/06/2011 10:43

Good choice!

We have a wriggly little Alistair James.

mummy2l · 07/06/2011 11:24

Love Alastair William. How about Alastair Henry or George?

Trinaluce · 07/06/2011 19:47

I love it, but it's (PITA) BiL's name Sad

He's Alastair Richard.

Something else Scottish in the middle perhaps? Logan, Ewan, Lewis, Craig.... >>thinks
