Joseph and Eliza

Love all the boys names, but especially Joseph and Elliott.

Girls names not so keen on, but like Eliza best.

I like Joseph and Polly.

dunmoanin · 27/05/2011 13:59

I too like all of the boys names, especially Elliott.

I'm not keen on most of the girls names but would say that Eliza would be my preference.

Naoise is a pretty name, but unless you live in Ireland, I doubt most people would know how to pronounce it or spell it. I wouldn't have a clue. Some people still struggle with Niamh and that's a relatively well known name.

LouMacca · 27/05/2011 14:05

Joseph and Eliza. Lovely.

JiltedJohnsJulie · 27/05/2011 14:17

Like all the boys names, especially Elliott which was my old cat's name. Like all the girls' names too, but Polly sounds more like a nn than a proper name.

othersideofchannel · 27/05/2011 14:21

I like Elliot and Eliza.

Alioco · 27/05/2011 14:24

Thanks for the comments, think Eliza is my current favourite girl name. And a toss up between Joseph and Elliott if it's a boy.

Aiden orJoseph

Eliza

Is Naoise not a boy's name?

RugbyWidow7 · 29/05/2011 06:43

Not keen in Elliot at all sorry. My brother is an Aidan (but different spelling). I love the name and he's always been really happy with it. Good choice.

I go for Aidan and Eliza.

seeker · 29/05/2011 06:52

Naoise is a boy's name - I think he was a warrior prince but can't rememebr the story. But definitely male.

e know an Eliza Primrose, which I think is lovely.

mathanxiety · 29/05/2011 06:59

Aidan, Naoise or Joseph for a boy. I have to agree with Seeker about Naoise. It is used for girls a bit but I would assume someone with this name would be male.

For a girl, Eliza.

Portonian · 29/05/2011 07:05

I love Aidan, this would be mine if having a ds though spelt Aiodhan.

I also like Naoise would be very cute on a girl but if you are now worried about it being a "boys" name Polly is also very pretty.

seeker · 29/05/2011 07:07

Honestly, it's like saying "Frederick would be cute for a girl"

(just remembered that I started a spoof thread saying just that a while age - and one person actually did say "If you love it, use it!)

pilates · 29/05/2011 09:13

Joseph and Eliza

All the other names are ok except Elliott which is awful.

suspiria · 29/05/2011 13:49

My favourites are Joseph, Eliza and Polly

ManicAnnie · 29/05/2011 13:50

Naoise is an Irish boy's name!

Like Polly and Eliza very much.

Youcantaffordme · 29/05/2011 14:01

Portonian Why would you spell it Aiodhan? Were you thinking of Aodhan, which is prn like Ethan?

Don't you think Naoise would get called Noise or Noisy (unless you're in Ireland).
