When did you decide on your children's names?

Was it way, way back before you even met your OH? Sometime before you got pregnant? During the pregnancy, or after the birth?

Has it been different for different children?

dd1 the day we were engaged 18 months before her birth
ds1 about 6 weeks pre birth
dd2 at birth convinced she was a boy she looked just like her name
ds2 2 weeks post was the name we'd choosen for dd2 but had gone off it ,dd1 however did not agree and the name stuck
ds3 at birth
dd3 at birth
ds4 picked a name at 20 week scan and stuck with it but when he arrived he looked just like another name we had discounted during the pregancy
dd4 at 10 months post birth (very long story) and still have issues with her name
