Eve - nice but extremely popular
Nancy - not keen, a bit flouncy
Daisy - love this and think it flows best with the other names :)

Prefer Louis spelling for a boy, or Lewis.

Eve is VERY popular, and Daisy is becoming more popular, so I'd avoid those two names. Nancy is nice but doesn't grab me iykwimSmile

Love Louis (pronounced Loo-e) ...are you pronouncing it Loo-e or Loo-is?

donandpea · 18/05/2011 14:32

Louis will be pronouced Loo-e.

Catherine Pearl is nice. I like Nancy Catherine Pearl too.

But Brian????

donandpea · 18/05/2011 14:43

The middle names are after lost family members. Brian was my husbands dad whom I never got to meet. Catherine and Pearl are both great grandmothers that have been lost since the birth of Isla. Isla'a middle name is Beatrix after my late grandmother. We like middle names to have a family conection.

I think Daisy is lovely and goes well with Isla Smile

Definitely go for Louis spelling; I 've only ever seen Louie as a nickname for Louise, personally so find it very girly.

Louis is a gorgeous name and hurrah for you wanting it pronounced properly!!

Must the middle name be Brian it's such a mismatch with Louis!

oop sorry cross posted.

My favourite is Nancy, but I think Eve goes better with Isla. Don't like Daisy at all.

Louis spelling. I knew a Louie once who was thick set, and it looked ridiculous on him. Not so bad if you're son's likely to be small though.
You'll probably get 'Louie or Lewis?' every now and then, but most people read it as Louie.

Calvin Brian's nice.
Lucy, Sarah, Dylan.

I'm glad everyone like's louis there are times I wish my father in law had a middle name that we could of used instead of his first anme (Brian) but he didn't. At the end of the day the only time I really say my middle name is when your down the pub and you have that whats your middle name conversation. I have a very 80's plain middle name (Jane). If bump is bule and we name him Louis Brian then he'll just get a bit if stick when he's bigger down the pub from time to time.

I'm currently feeling in a Nancy mood but this changes from day to day a few different sugestions from our three girls names would be welcome.

Squeak2392 thanks but Sarah and Lucy don't really float my boat.
