We are currently arguing about girls names, DH is very set on Adele which hadn't actually occured to me. I have always loved Adeline but DH for some reason won't entertain it.

Having been thought about it, Adele is starting to grow on me (not quite at the love love love stage) but I am not keen on super popular names and I am worried that, while Adele was way down the chart in the 2009 stats, is it about to explode in popularity due to the singer?

Singer will be a flash in the pan - its a lovely name

I have a good friend called Adele, and it did occur to me that it was a lovely name when I was carrying DD2. Go for it.
