I'm a bit in love with this name at the moment but a little worried it will conjure visions of muscular African America tennis players or has hidden socio economic implications that as an NZer I'm not aware of. Middle name will be Violet after my Grandmother.

I think its a gorgeous name and very underused.

it is my dd's name! she gets nothing but compliments.

I really like it. Hadn't thought of the Williams connection till my DH pointed it out - but I'm sure that connection will diminish with time.

Love it! Unlikely to be shortened too, although I do know a Ren.
