What do you all think about this name for a girl? Unsure of middle name yet

I seem to quite like this name at the moment but change my mind frequently, just wondered what everyone elses opinion on it was

Nope. Too much like Caden/Kaden.

Don't like. I speak as somebody who (16 years ago) seriously considered Melody for dd1. Dp laughed it out of the house and I have to say that he was right. Don't do it!

De Cadence has a nice ring to it

I know a little Cadence and she's lovely, the name really suits her. So I like it.

It makes me think of gradients of hills, doesn't sound terribly like a name.

Wouldn't she get teased about being 'dense' at school? Apart from having to repeat her name five times and spell it twice for every new person she met...

I like it, but I don't think you should use it because of the popularity of Caden/Kaiden.
Love nn Cady though.

I liked Cadenza along with Melody. I still like them but DH had to practically pick himself up off the floor he laughed so much, which unfortunately would be a fairly representative reaction I think.

It's horrible and chavvy.

I do spinning (a cycling gym class) and the instructor is constantly yelling "Come on guys, check your cadence", so it would certainly be a no-no for me.

TBH, even if I didn't know about the cycling, I wouldn't be keen. Sorry.

Hmmmm, ok, back to the drawing board :o
