Had a beautiful baby girl 3 weeks ago (I have 2 sons already) and we are going to register her birth tomorrow. Im totally happy with the name we've chosen but Im now wondering whether to slip my christian name in as a second middle name, or is this just total vanity on my part??!!!!
My name is a classic name that has now come back into fashion and it would flow with her other two names. Im not really sure why I feel the need to name her after myself, maybe because we are DEFINITELY not having any more children or maybe it's just the hormones talking!
What do you think?

yeah why not. just check the initials are still nice. lots of people do what you are suggesting. go for it!

Yes I think its a really nice idea, can you tell us what it is?

MsChanandlerBong · 05/05/2011 13:27

I don't see any problems with doing that.

Lovely, definitely do it! Smile

Don't see why not, lots of families have a "family name" which is given to all children of a particular sex (or all eldest children).

That is really lovely. I wish my own mother had done it!
