Would call her Bea whatever but I am drawn to Beatrix for some reason (though did just read Peter Rabbit to DC tonight).

Any thoughts?

I love Beatrix, a very old friend named her DD Beatrix and I think that made me love the name even more as she was adorable!

DH wouldn't even consider it for a DD though. Sad

Trix - sounds better I feel.

prefer Beatrice - sounds much nicer and nn would be Bea rather than Trixie

Beatrice, to me, is pretty. Beatrix, to me, is ugly.

Stupid really but that's my honest reaction.

Both lovely but Beatrix is just gorgeous. I LOVE it.

Beatrice has a classic, soft feel to it, whereas Beatrix is edgier and more arty, imo.
