Help I can't decide!

My daughter is due in 6 weeks and I still can't firmly decide on a name and it's starting to stress me out Confused

What are your honest opinions of these?

Florence (so far the favourite, it popped into my head and won't go, i'd prob shorten to Florrie but I'm not so keen on Flo and starting to wonder if Florence is a bit cumbersome)
Rose - like this but possibly as a middle name rather then 1st (know there are loads but have liked for years)
Grace - Like it but maybe a bit too popular now?
Charlotte (prefer the nn Lottie)
Lola
Imogen

Any other suggestions that you think of are very welcome :)

Thanks
Liz x

Florence is lovely, I don't think it's at all cumbersome! Rose is beautifulSmile

I love Grace, but it is terribly popular at the moment, I'd use it as a mn.

Charlotte, Lola, and Imogen are lovely, but again very, very popular at the moment, but if that doesn't bother you got for it ...of the three I love ImogenSmile

I'd go with Rose or Imogen of those.

Florence to me = dumpy old lady, my auntie florrie with the blue hair and I can't believe how popular it is. If it's your favourite I won't hold it against you though! I know some lovely babies called Florence, but still can't like the name. Also makes me think of teenage mags "Dear agony aunt, My Aunt Flo arrived in town during double latin!".

Grace is very popular, but is beautiful.

Lola = showgirl.

I like Charlotte a fair bit, but not as much as Rose.

Rosa is nice too, or rosamund...

Florence is a fabulous name

kreecherlivesupstairs · 25/04/2011 22:55

I really like Florence, I particularly like the NN Flossie or Floss.

Imogen Grace or Imogen Rose are beautiful names.

meditrina · 26/04/2011 20:28

I think they are all lovely names!

(That doesn't help, does it? But you have great taste).

I SO love Florence and I really really wanted to name my DD it. However, it rhymes with our surname so I couldn't use it. I have a DS called Oliver too. I love the NN Flo, I remember I was sat in a coffee shop before I had my DD and a lady was sat there with her newborn baby cooing over her calling her little Flo! Loved it!

Prinpo · 26/04/2011 22:35

Florence or Rose. Both beautiful.

Grace, Charlotte and Imogen are all pretty but very popular, if that bothers you.

Lola's a great name. We think showgirl, kids will think Charlie's little sister.

Sorry, I'm not being much help Grin. I think I'd go with Florence.

tigermummy35 · 26/04/2011 22:56

Florence is great, my friend calls her Florence (6 months) Flossie for short, which is cute.

Charlotte I also love.

Hedwig3 · 27/04/2011 10:18

Rose.

oohlaalaa · 27/04/2011 10:27

Florence - lovely
Rose - lovely
Grace - sorry I think of grease rather than a graceful gril
Charlotte - my favourite
Lola - a transvestite in the kinks song, a showgirl in Barry Manilow song. Sorry, I sing both of these in my head, and it spoils the name
Imogen - lovely

Love Charlotte... a really classic beautiful name :)
