I was all set on the name skyla for our little girl due in 2 weeks, but I've suddenly got the name lily stuck in my head and now can't decide on which one to go with... please help me choose.x

Lily is beautiful and classic. I just wonder whether Skyla might be one of those names in the future which sound a bit 'faddy'.

Lily is also lovely paired with a wider variety of middle names - someone I used to work with has called their daughter Lily-Beatrice (shortened to Lily-Bea) which works nicely when they are younger and gives the name more of a uniqueness.

I prefer Lily for sure. It's a really pretty name.
I personally don't like Skyla, and I think the spelling would be tricky because most people would spell it Skylar.

Really dislike Skyla. Lily is much nicer.

Apparently its popular but I don't know many.

So many Lilys around here that it would put me off completely but I do prefer it so Skyla.

Lily is so overused imo that it has become a little 'dull' imo - there are just so many of them around. I'm not a fan of Skyla but how about Skye?
