Help with boy's name

audrey01 · 16/04/2011 23:20

Appreciate all the help from fellow mums.

Got two lovely DD's - Vanessa and Olivia - we're stuck now on a boy's name. Need the name to sound international, i.e. easy to pronounce/spell in other languages.

Was thinking about Victor to keep it somewhat in line with the other two names (both have a V in it), what do you think of it - hate it/like it?

Or do you have other suggestions that would go well with my other daughters' names?

Love, love, love Victor. Goes very well (though you might want to avoid two having the same initial for postal reasons, though maybe one of each sex would work OK)

Sorry not keen, but don't let that put you off. Just makes me think of Vector in Despicable Me.

SolarPanel · 17/04/2011 09:30

I like it.

Jemma1111 · 17/04/2011 09:34

Victor is nice but how about Vincent?

Bumbags · 17/04/2011 09:58

Felix

Lucas

Albert

Not keen on Vincent at all

I quite like Felix - though in the back of my mind I hear "Felix the cat"....But not bothered, as I am a cat-lover.

I see your point about them having the same initial, so how about these names:

Damian
Fabian
Cassian
Caspar

Thanks a lot for your feedback!

Quite like Victor, although I'm surprised to! I think it goes well with your dds' names.

Like Fabian.

Don't like Felix or Casper.

LOVE Vincent but hate Vince.

squeak2392 · 27/04/2011 00:12

Not sure about Victor. The name of my mad uncle who always had greasy hair when I was younger =/
Like Vincent though.

I think you should try not to have the 'v' first, in case it gets complicated with Vanessa.
How about: Evan, Tavis/Travis, Ludovic, Alvin, Elvis, David, Devon, Everett, Kevin, River, Xavier/Zavier, Trevor, Sullivan.

I love it.

I like Felix and Caspar.
