Luke or Benjamin?

Hi there, our top favourites for a boy are currently Luke and Benjamin, nn Ben. Which do you think is nicer and would it go better with Timothy or William (both family names) as middle name? My personal favourite is Luke Timothy, my dh's is Benjamin William. Surname has two syllables. So could really do with some feedback!

Benjamin is far nicer IMO

But for some reason, I really don't like Luke.

Ben is a gorgeous name and I've only ever met lovely Bens Smile

Benjamin William would be my choice.

I much prefer Luke, it's a nice solid name. Luke William sounds great :) And it would be a good compromise with your preferred first name and your DH's preferred middle name.

I think of Benjamin and Timothy as a bit "wet", not sure why, and if you like them then use them - they're perfectly good names, just not my taste.

Luke William

no strong views on Benjamin tbh but I'm afraid I do think Timothy is a bit "wet". Sorry.
