But not Victoria or Elizabeth! Scots/Irish heritage.

Any ideas?

notanumber you are on my wavelength! Got any boy's names?

I feckin' LOVE Ramona! Might have to change Alexandra's name to Beezus though :)

Kate/Katherine and Isabel (family spelling) were on the list last time. I like Clara as well but how to pronounce? Is it Klar-a (as in "long distance") or Clare-a? I know two grown up Claras and they are one of each!

YESSSSSSSSSS! YESSSSSSSS! My work here is done! Someone loves Ramona!

notanumber · 14/04/2011 11:26

It is Klar-a, IMHO.

Sorry, assumed you knew you having a girl when you vetoed Elizabeth and Victoria (but perhaps you're just anti-monarchy Wink). Will get back to you.

Alexandra and Cameron

Alexandra and Fraser

Alexandra and Blair

Too Scottish?

shaunwinonaandsue · 14/04/2011 11:34

Little bit. Cameron and Blair are a bit "Dave and Tony" (vom) to my ears now!

I do like Fraser but I know one and he's not the sort of person you'd name your child after :)

Elizabeth and Victoria just seem like they go with Alexandra, I hate "Vicky" (apologies to any Vickys!) and there are waaaay too many Liz/Betty/Beth types in our wider family to stand another.

Baby not conceived yet :) but about to get to work on it and remember how we struggled for inspiration last time!

my dd2 is Alexandra, dd1 is Honor ds1 is William ds2 is Lucas if that helps!

shaunwinonaandsue · 14/04/2011 23:39

I like Kieran and Innes rather a lot. Honor is beautiful but a bit too posh for t'likes of us, the assumed spelling would probably be Onner :)

Isla and David were on the list last time, and a lot of the other suggestions are in our extended family already - it's uncanny!

Grin at being thought posh. We are honestly working class, even worse an Army family . If I am ever lucky enough to have a dc5 I love Tessa or Gabriel though that will never get past dh. Just throwing those ones out there.

upyourdiva · 15/04/2011 08:10

Goingdownhill - I was just about to say I know an Alexanrda with a brother named Lucas, they do go very well together :o

shaunwinonaandsue · 15/04/2011 09:40

goingdownhill I can only imagine my ILs introducing "our Onner" :) not saying you're totes rah like! We did used to get RAF kids at school sometimes though and they were dead posh to us [narrow horizons emoticon].

My mum's friend's daughter has just had a Lucas and he's gorgeous! I was pondering Laurence earlier, nn Laurie, any thoughts?

(just need to get over the birth trauma and start ttc now!)

I LOVE Laurie, another one that was vetoed by my boring dh. Laurie and Alexandra are beautiful together.Smile
