a middle name for Daphne

A few weeks to go, don't know the sex of Violet's (dd1) brother or sister. Happily, we're sorted for a boy's name and have both fallen in love with Daphne and all her flapper charms, but are looking for her middle name. Our surname ends with F so middle names beginning with A & E are best avoided.

What do you think of the following?:

Daphne Isadora ( I like the meaning, gift of Isis- a connection with Africa)
Daphne Isabeau
Daphne Luna (I adore, dh doesn't like because of similarity to Lula, dd1's middle name. I don't think that's a problem.)
Daphne Lilac (I think v v pretty/ slightly offbeat, dh had agreed but now backed out - thinks it sounds like a paint colour. In fact Daphne Lilac is the name of a shrub. Lilac would also be a connection to Violet)
Daphne Octavia (dh's idea, my eighth pregancy - mixed feelings whether that fact should be celebrated)

Any other suggestions?

Daphne Flora/Fleur lovely ,Margles, but a real mouthful with our surname beginning with F - F's also to be avoided really.

It is true that daphne is a plant, and a particularly sweet-smelling one at that but not so obviously iyswim, Solarpanel, not everyone will know that.

My lastest crushes, while Daphne Camilla is out, because of the P-B connection,

How about.....

Daphne Camellia
or Daphne Camille?

I love them both....

If you don't mind two plant names then Daphne Camellia would be very nice :) Or how about Cecilia/Cordelia/Romelia?

Daphne Camille is v nice flapper. I am probably being a bit slow but I am still not understanding the meaning of DEF in relation to a mixed race child!

Daphne Pearl is my favourite. It sounds really pretty! I also like Octavia, Eloise and Luna but Pearl really stands out. Beautiful.

Love Daphne especially with Violet.

What about Daphne Isola?

I adore Daphne Celeste.

Daphne Pearl is lovely, however, dh doesn't like the name Pearl, while I love it too much to use it as a middle name! - would like to keep it up my sleeve as a first name for a future dd. I made the same mistake with d1d, she had Violet as a middle name as a short while, until I decided I loved it too much and we changed it too her first - would like to avoid a similar scenario!

correction - changed it 'to' her first!

I would keep off all plant names with Daphne.
