Rough shortlist is:

Elizabeth

Darcey
Camille/a

Surname is Thomas.

Please pick your fave or ad any other suggestions. HELP!

I love Darcey Elizabeth Thomas

ttalloo · 05/04/2011 22:58

I'd go for Darcey or Camille with a common surname like Thomas so that she stands out a bit more.

Good luck!

SolarPanel · 05/04/2011 23:02

Catherine Elizabeth Thomas would be very nice.

How about

Josephine
Abigail
Lydia
Coralie
Emily
Christina
Natalie
Miriam
Nina
Felicity
Louisa
Alexandra
Victoria
Georgina
Sarah

SolarPanel · 05/04/2011 23:03

... or Sophia, another lovely classic name?

notanumber · 05/04/2011 23:05

Camille. Lovely - understated and elegant, uncommon yet un-weird.

Camille Elizabeth Thomas. Yes, I like it.

vintageteacups · 05/04/2011 23:06

Or Camilla?

yousankmybattleship · 05/04/2011 23:06

I like them all except Darcey which is the most favourite chav name where I live at the moment.

vintageteacups · 05/04/2011 23:12

Perhaps the OP doesn't live where you live.

Where I live, Darcey is a very english, pretty name and not many children are called it Wink

yousankmybattleship · 05/04/2011 23:18

Just goes to show how different things are in different areas of the country. That is why I put where I live in my answer.

deliakate · 06/04/2011 08:44

I'm quite lucky, as there are no chavs where I live. Either that, or I am the chav! Anyway, I love the name - it makes me think of dance whenever I hear it.

Camille reminds me of Lucille (ball) so not too keen on that, but I LOVE Camilla.
Also love Elizabeth.
If you like Darcey then maybe Clancy.

Tillylove · 06/04/2011 09:51

I love, love, love Darcey!!! Darcey Elizabeth Thomas or Darcey Catherine Thomas sounds very pretty.

I also think Elizabeth is a fab name as you can have so many abbreviations - Lizzy, Beth, Betty, Eliza

SilkStalkings · 06/04/2011 16:36

Definitely Darcey or Camille. We have a v common surname too so stayed away from Top50 names (although 1 is now creeping inAngry).

SilkStalkings · 06/04/2011 16:37

Camille

Prinpo · 06/04/2011 18:15

I'd definitely go with Camille (but them I'm a sucker for anything French). Infinitely better than Camilla.

Darcey is cute, but becoming very popular amongst the hoi polloi and we just can't have that Grin.

Elizabeth is lovely (DD1's middle name) but may sound a bit staid with Thomas as a surname. Likewise Catherine.

Yep, Camille gets my vote.

argylesocks · 06/04/2011 18:53

I vote Camille definitely. Really nice and a bit unusual

weimy · 06/04/2011 19:28

I like Darcy it is my pups name!!!

With Camilla everyone will think you are sucking up to the royal wedding.

Emelene · 06/04/2011 23:02

I vote Elizabeth! It's my favourite!

Bubbaluv · 07/04/2011 05:25

Before choosing Camille, just try saying it with a few different accents that you think you might encounter.
I might like it so long as I never heard anyone non-French say it.
Cockney, Australian, NZ, Essex - all sorts of accents I can think of would butcher it.

Tortoiseonthehalfshell · 07/04/2011 05:32

You can't have Darcey AND Elizabeth in one name, though, come on people. Elizabeth Darcy? Hello?

Royal wedding will be forgotten in a little while, and Camilla is nice and classic. But if you love Darcey, I'd go with Darcey Camille Thomas.

Bucharest · 07/04/2011 08:15

Elizabeth or Catherine.

Both utterly beautiful.

Darcey completely the other end of the class scale.

Camille, as others have said, unless you are somewhere where everyone is going to use the same, correct pronunciation, might be dodgy. Also, I imagine a Camille to be a little delicate dainty child....I don't make em like that, so Camille for me would be a no-no.

hilltop666 · 12/04/2011 17:10

I'd go for Darcey but not with Elizabeth- starting to condsider it myself but was thinking it could sound a bit chavvy though so i'm kinda unsure.

burntsienna · 12/04/2011 17:26

Why so with Camilla rather than Elizabeth - or especially Catherine !!!
