Please answer honestly - does Josh go with my surname??

We really like the name Josh/Joshua and it's about the only name that we both agree on. The trouble is that I immediately discounted it because I think it's too much of a mouthful when you say it with our surname. But what so you think - can we get away with it?? So our son would be called Joshua/Josh Wassall.
Your opinions are appreciated!!

Jonathon Wassall is lovely. There are not many Jonathon's these days and you could shorten it eventually to Jon.

I find Josh Wassel harder to say then Joshua Wassel. The extra syllables in Joshua break up the 's' s.

What about Jonah? I've just seen that on a thread.
