Ahh why do I keep changing my mind?

DD due in 7 weeks really like the name Isabella BUT my DH has now decided this is getting too common. I like the ella sound at the end of the name and also gives leway for NN's my other ideas are:

Aurella
Ariella
Arella and
Ariah

Not sure if they are a bit of a mouthfull though. However our surname is infact Allan so not sure if this works for or against the options
Any opinions??

Tbh with that surname I'd avoid any first names that are all As and Ls. How about just Bella instead?

Thanks I think ur right. I think i'm just getting desperate lol. My DH likes Bella but it's the name of my mums cat who i've grown up with so It just reminds me of her! thats why we argreed on Isabella as Bella can be NN. I'm so confused!

not keen on first names starting with same letter of surname, how about gabriella or lucia?

I think it could sound nice, though you might want a harder sound at the front (like Mirabella, Christabella, Sybella, or Rosabelle) rather than more As.

OP - i share your surname. I wanted to call my DD Lily... I managed to get it in as a middle name :)

Bizarrely, my DD was going to be called Isabella at one point, but it sounded a bit of a mouthful with the surname.

Hope you pick a name soon, but 7 weeks is still a long time to choose though!

Fifi so did I with Lilly! :) lol I really liked it some people got the name and some people didn't till i mentioned it. I would like it as a middle name but we have chosen to give her my middle name which is also my mums middle name so it's starting to run in the family.

ooh Pilates Gabriella Allan sounds lovely...... or Gabrielle?

Ariah Allan is awful, doesn't roll well at all.
