First Boys Names Shortlist - Whaddyathink?

So, we have just found out we are having a boy and so far like these names.

If you have any other suggestions that would be great!

Hunter (probably won't use as might be a bit mean but I love it)
Isaac (Ike/Ikie)
Loki (I know he was the norse trickster god but still like it)

Haven't heard of Elian but I like it. Also Hunter, but suspect you're right - a middle name?

Elijah is also nice. I like Elias.

I like Caspar, Elias and Isaac.

I think Eli seems better as a nn, but I'm not keen on Elian. Eden is nice, but becoming unisex - would you be OK with that? Sorry, I'm not keen on the others.

They're mostly lovely names, you have great taste.

I know 2 girls called Eden.

All nice, I particularly like Avery and Elias/Elian.

(A Kasper is a very well known silly clown in Germany, so not a great choice if any chance of ds spending time there one day)

Alvie - is this short for something?

Like Elias and Isaac best, also like Elijah with Eli for short.

Eden I think suits a girl better.

Avery and Hunter too surnamey, also what if he was not 'hunter' and was more of an ascetic intellectual type?

Loki - sounds good but maybe a bit much! (what about Lauchlan you could call him it for short?)

personally I'd steer clear of the names with 2 or fewer (could be none) named the same, as that means it's pretty rare so he'd have to spell it for people the whole time.

LOVE Avery! Not sure why but I find it very cute.

Hunter I think of Hunter Davies the writer as opposed to the bloke from Gladiators (who I would think of second) if that is any help!

Alvie, to me, sounds like it is short for something else, and Eden I do think of more for girls.
