middle name for Alice

DP and I both really like Alice for our little one, due 16/05, but neither of us can think of a middle name to go with it that we really like. So far, we're thought about Alice Imogen, Alice Rebecca, or Alice Evelyn, but none of them really feels right. I'd like a quite 'girly' name, preferably not in the top 100, and DP really prefers very common, meet-em-in-every-primary-school-in-the-country type names (although still girly).
Our other possible first names are Annabelle, Imogen, Orla, and Lila, to give you an idea about what we can agree on!

Alice May/Mae, Alice Louisa, Alice Emilie, Alice Amelia, Alice Beth? Agree with Alice Elizabeth too. Alice Evelyn sounds really pretty, but I prefer Imogen Alice to Alice Imogen - flows nicer!

We did have Imogen Alice as a possibility for a long time, but after a chat last night decided that Alice Imogen actually flows much better when you say it out loud! Imogen Alice very quickly turned into imagine-alice, or image-and-alice, after we'd said it a couple of times!

Alice Constance
Alice Gabrielle
Alice Katherine

I think Alice is a beautiful name and I think as it's very 'soft' sounding a hard constanant works well at the start of the second name IYSWIM.

longislandicetea · 28/03/2011 16:59

Unusual, definitely, but my sister is Faye, so that's off limits!

Why not name your daughter after your sister? My niece's middle name is my first name (also happens to be Alice). I was very flattered.

Underachieving · 29/03/2011 18:20

Alice Marianne
