I like them. Oscar is cute for a baby but will age well.

didldidi · 26/03/2011 12:14

I like both - wanted Oscar myself but DH said a) it reminded him too Sesame Street and b) sounded too public school.

didldidi · 26/03/2011 12:14

sorry that should say reminded him too much of Sesame Street.

I had a golden lab called Oscar .. and there is the green man in the bin thing ...but I actually like it

I don't like Oscar or Ozzie very much at all, I',m afraid. Alexander is lovely and classic though.

vaginiasmonalogue · 26/03/2011 15:12

I have an Oscar hence it is my favourite boys name Grin

He is a grouch too Wink

ShowOfHands · 26/03/2011 15:21

The initials being OAT amuses me somewhat.

The names are fine. Popular, classic names. I don't love them (I like weird names) but there's nothing wrong with them.

WuzzAndBuddy · 26/03/2011 15:29

I love Oscar, but really don't like Ozzie. That was the deal breaker when DS was born, just couldn't imagine him becoming 'Ozzie'...

sahara13 · 26/03/2011 15:31

rachel1970 · 26/03/2011 17:18

I don't have an Oscar and I don't like it at all, I'm afraid. Especially dislike Ossie/Ozzie.

Dynababy · 26/03/2011 21:24

I love the name Oscar, great name!
Not so keen on his initials though... extra or different middle name perhaps?

Dynababy · 27/03/2011 11:41

Thanks again for the replies I do like Aexander and didn't thin OAT was offence but maybe not ideal .. I also liked Fox as a middle name Oscar Alexander Fox T&&... but it spells OAF T&& which is really bad!! Any suggestions welcome! Grin
