My lovely son was born 6 weeks ago and I can't seem to name him! I have fallen in love with the name Rafe but not sure I can go there...opinions please! I have 3 daughters called Meg, Bess and Emma so must 'go' with them. Other options are - Will, Tom - (dh likes...) many many thanks for your opinions, I'm well and truly stuck and running out of time!

SecretNutellaFix · 25/03/2011 12:33

Laurie?

Hedwig3 · 25/03/2011 12:35

Tom is great name

I quite like Rafe too

growing3rdbump · 25/03/2011 12:35

Rafe goes perfectly with your daughters' names. I think it's a lovely choice.

Carrotsandcelery · 25/03/2011 12:36

I love Rafe. Why are you cautious of it?

Rafi · 25/03/2011 12:36

Rafe IS gorgeous Smile. Why can't you go there?

Carrotsandcelery · 25/03/2011 12:36

What are you subconsciously calling him all this time?

kreecherlivesupstairs · 25/03/2011 12:36

Duncan or Adrian. I really bang on about them, but they are perfect.

Carrotsandcelery · 25/03/2011 12:38

It seems Rafe means "Wolf" - how fantastic! Go for it! Grin

Hedwig3 · 25/03/2011 12:40

If you have really "fallen in love" with the name Rafe, wouldn't you always regret not using it? Smile

nickelbabyhatcher · 25/03/2011 12:42

i think it's perfect.

trust your instinct!

Oooh Devon! Let us know what you decide and CONGRATULATIONS!

Hedwig3 · 25/03/2011 13:17

Hooray for Rafe's special day! Grin

othersideofchannel · 25/03/2011 13:42

Rafe is lovely, I'd stick with that.

Tom ia a little dull and Willy will be teased with Willy.

Bratfink · 25/03/2011 13:46

Rafe is fab, i know a grown up Rafe and he is whit whoooo

TondelayoSchwarzkopf · 25/03/2011 13:47

If I'm not too late. Another vote for Rafe here.

I was always unsure about DS name as it did seem a leetle 'out there' but it suits him perfectly.

Rafi · 25/03/2011 13:56

It's a great name, Devon, unusual enough to be interesting but not too weird, easy for your ds to spell & say - & it's not often you get a unanimous YES on the baby names forum!

devoncreamtea · 25/03/2011 16:38

We have a Rafe! Full title Rafe William. PERFECT. Thanks everyone for encouraging me to go with my instinct. YAY!
