When you hear Lucas, do you think mucus?

My dh loves the name Lucas but I am not so sure because I think it rhymes with mucus and my yet to be born son will get picked on at school!
Or am I being ridiculous?!
What do you think of lucas - yay or nay??

I love the name Luka. The song's about a boy, it's a boy's name.

I think you can find a rhyme/alliteration/association for any name if you want to and if a child is going to bully or tease another child, they will find a way regardless.

Lucas is a perfectly lovely name. It is rather popular, biggest climber in 09 I think but that's because it's a good name.

I generally don't think about mucus and still won't when I hear the name.

I had never thought about the "mucus" thing when choosing the name however funnily enough my step-mother (age approx mid fifties) decided to start chanting it at one visit..... Hmm

No. I think of my gorgeous, super handsome son :)

You can think of something silly/ unpleasant to rhyme with just about any name if you try hard enough.
