Problem with initials

We are trying to find a girl's name for our baby when it arrives and have found two favourites that both begin with F. Our surname begins with M. And we had already chosen the middle names Alice, Rose (family names we love). This would mean that our little girl's initials would spell FARM. Not great! I've been trying to find a way round it and can't. So, how much does it matter do you think? Is this terrible? Thank you!

Could she be F.R.A.M. ?

But FARM is not bad is it really?

Can you have Rose and then Alice - FRAM seems fine to me

I don't think it matters massively. I know someone whose is known by his middle name. His initials would spell a word if they were in a particular order so they made his middle name his first name etc on the birth certificate but still called him by his middle name.

eg instead of MAD they called him AMD but still called him M. Grin

FARM isn't bad at all - was expecting Clara Ursula Natalie Travers or somesuch

Janoschi · 24/03/2011 21:13

FARM is fine. It's not as if your surname was Thompson.

Ha, you've made me laugh. Could be worse I guess! FRAM doesn't really work unfortunately, as it just doesn't flow at all. Thanks for your thoughts - much appreciated!
