Anna or Daisy?

Getting into a complete tizz about which to pick.

I love Anna but is it too safe and dull?

Is Daisy twee and is it as timeless as Anna?

Which would you rather be called?

Anna is a fab name

I love Daisy and wanted it for DD but DH veoted it as he thought it sounded too twee and not an adult name. I have to say in the coldlight of day I do agree, so we gave DD Daisy as a middle name.
Anna is a lovely name and I think Anna Daisy sounds lovely together. You get the best of both worlds then!

I'm always surprised Anna does so well on here. I think it's so, so dull. It's just a blah name to me.

Nice enough, just not interesting and not at all pretty. Just whatever.

Daisy has a bit more kick to it - a bit more personal taste, if that makes sense?

preschoolconcerns · 25/03/2011 22:36

Bland, that's what Anna is.

ValiumSingleton · 25/03/2011 23:31

I don't find it bland. Its simplicity gives it oomph in a sea of more flowery and confusing names. jmo of course

muminthemiddle · 25/03/2011 23:35

Anna.

Anna is beautiful. It is timeless.

Daisy is cute but it's a bit babyish for an adult.

Anna is lovely.

Lovethesea · 26/03/2011 22:46

Anna. We have one. I figure she can be anything with a name like Anna, beautiful and strong too. Daisy would make me think floral, Laura Ashley, girly princess and she might want to play rugby, be a goth and fly jets. Anna I could see as creatively hippy or direct businesswoman. She's only 2 so I wait to see!

I prefer daisy, but it is going to be THE girls name for 2011 if my friends and random acquaintances are anything to judge by... so if you are bothered by having a 'popular' name....

I have an Annalise who is sometimes shortened to Anna so I vote that!
