Any ideas for Irish boys names? Ideally those easy to spell/pronounce.

My favourite name is Oisín but not easy to spell or pronounce. How about:

Cian
Ciaran
Cillian
Conor
Declan
Finn
Malachy
Niall
Ronan

Both my boys have difficult to pronounce Irish names. I think that is hard to avoid.

SoupDragon · 24/03/2011 11:38

Aidan is pretty easy.

idobelieveinfairies · 24/03/2011 11:39

I have some boys with Irish names...

Callum (gaelic)
Declan
Keenan
Aidan
Kyran

Happy naming! Smile

Really like Patrick.

Bradyboo · 24/03/2011 12:17

Finnard

ChickensHaveNoEyebrows · 24/03/2011 12:18

Darragh is my all time favourite.

ValiumSingleton · 24/03/2011 13:15

I love Diarmuid. Tadhg is lovely but spelling tricky. Lorcan is a good one and the spelling is easy.

Finnard is not one I've come accross yet. There are a lot of Oisins, Fionns, Cians and Conors here.

Tuschinski · 24/03/2011 13:44

Eoin/Eoghan
Liam

BlueChampagne · 24/03/2011 15:12

ValiumSingleton · 24/03/2011 15:37

Bit dated! Colm and Niall would be 80 between them. That doesn't matter though. Ignore my sharp tongue Blush

Eamon, Fiachra, Micheal [pronounced Meehall], Diarmuid, Ultan, Rian,
