Ava or Eva

Can't decide which I prefer. Which is your favourite?

Eva you like Ava best or you like Eva best

Ava reminds me of Myleene Klass (yuk can't stand her!) so I'd say Eva but then DN is Eva so I'm biased. Do either work with your surname? Be prepared for Evie with Eva though, Ava probably wouldn't get changed?

Probably neither, if I'm honest. They are both very widely used already and I think there are nicer names around. But if I had to choose, probably Ava.

Ava for me, its my DDs middle name. It's very popular at the moment so not sure I would consider it for a first name myself.

Eva

Ava is nice too but prefer Eva

My mum is called Eva and she has hated it all her life.

Ava's a funny one -it's stylish but it's not pretty.

If this is DC1 take it from the naive mother of an Oliver, there are LOTS of them around. It's very of the moment, and I think it will date.
