Lovely classic name. Nice to see an alternative to all the Eleanors. Shakespearean, too.

CheerfulYank · 20/03/2011 01:11

I think it's beautiful! Good choice :)

GKlimt · 20/03/2011 01:13

Vert nice.

Margles · 20/03/2011 01:36

My grandmother's name - classy and underused. She was often referred to as Lena so you could use that as a nickname.

LadyWellian · 20/03/2011 01:39

Helena rhymes with Eleanor or pronounced Hel-EEN-a like the island? I've known both but prefer the first. Though obviously not if your surnmae is Troy Grin.

KangarooCaught · 20/03/2011 07:09

Beautiful and classy with any pronunciation. One of the four lovers in Shakespeare's 'Midsummer Night's Dream'.

Littlepurpleprincess · 02/04/2011 21:37

I love this name but it reminds me of My Chemical Romance. That's probably why I like it though.....
