Okay, it's a fairly long shortlist, but believe it or not this has been whittled down from a list that was originally about three times as long! I can't believe I've been obsessively thinking about names for hypothetical babies for about fifteen years, and now that I actually get to name a real person I can't think of a single one that I love enough to use! Anyway, here goes:

Annabelle Catherine
Annabelle Charlotte
Annabelle Freya
Annabelle Imogen
Annabelle Mary
Annabelle Rebecca
Annabelle Saoirse
Annabelle Tamsin
Imogen Alice
Imogen Cecelia
Imogen Saoirse
Orla Beatrice
Orla Catherine
Orla Tamsin
Lila Annabelle
Lila Beatrice
Lila Mary
Alice ?? can't think of any nice middle names for this (maybe Rebecca?) but I do like it as a first name

Frederick Arthur
Frederick James
Zachary Frederick
Arthur Frederick
James Frederick
*Frederick is a family name in both families, hence why it appears in every boy combo!

I like Imogen Alice and James Frederick

PepsiPopcorn · 15/03/2011 19:23

Really like the following of your girls' options:

Annabelle Catherine
Annabelle Mary
Annabelle Rebecca

Or how about Annabelle Cecilia or Alice Rebecca?

Of your boys' names I like Frederick James, Zachary Frederick and James Frederick.

Or how about Zachary James?

Hulababy · 15/03/2011 19:35

Boys:

Like Arthur best, then frederick with nn Fred/Freddie.

Girls:
I prefer Annabelle from the first names, or Alice actually. I think most of the middle names could work with it. Imogen is quite hard sounding to my ears.

cazzybabs · 15/03/2011 19:40

Arthur Frederick

Annabelle Catherine (although I would be worried about catherine and the kate middleton connection)

spidookly · 15/03/2011 19:40

Orla

Frederick

joydivisionovengloves · 15/03/2011 20:16

Love Alice works well with many names -
like Alice Rebecca, Imogen good also Martha, Beatrice or Rose/Rosemary
Quite a few Orla's round here, not too keen on Annebelle

Arthur Fredrick- favourite boys combination - If you have Fredrick first - will be shortened prob to freddy Smile DS best friend is one and is trying to use Fred instead but hard to change habits now...

Zaft · 15/03/2011 21:12

Annabelle Saoirse or Alice and Arthur Frederick or Frederick James. Please don't use Frederick Arthur if your last name begins with T Smile

blueberrymuffins · 17/03/2011 12:14

Love Zachary

zingally · 17/03/2011 18:50

Orla is a nice name with any middle. A bit different, but not ridiculous.

Zachary is nice. As is Zach as a NN.

spottyock · 17/03/2011 19:22

Arthur Frederick is my favourite from those followed by James.

Orla is pretty as is Alice. Alice Rose? Or Imogen Alice.

JiltedJohnsJulie · 17/03/2011 20:20

zing think we must be in a totally different area as there is nothing different abuot Orla in these parts, thought it was pretty popular.

Maternelle · 17/03/2011 20:29

Arthur Frederic
Orla Tamsin
