Expecting twins in July, just found out we're having one of each!

Boy's name is definately Henry John, but we are undecided on the girl's name, so....

Henry John and Honor Margaret
or
Henry John and Delia Margaret

Thanks!

Congratulations - how lovely!

Love the name Honor, but don't think it sounds quite right with Henry. It's like you have to consciously remember not to pronouce Honor's "H"...?

Personally I'm not wild on Delia, but think it sounds better with Henry.

Love Delia or Delilah

Honor and Henry!

Henry and Honor sound good together, it flows better.

I'm with Jollster too. Why not Henry and Margaret?

minipie · 11/03/2011 13:24

Much prefer Honor. It's a little bit awkward with Henry because of the silent H thing, but not too much.

You wouldn't consider Margaret as the first name? Lots of lovely traditional nicknames for margaret (maggie, meg, peg, molly etc)

dan1981 · 11/03/2011 13:26

same as perviously said, i think henry and delia sound good together because honor and henry need an effort to pronounce the H's. i do love the name Honor though too Smile

I like Honor!!! Although Margaret shortened to Maggie is a personal fave (would love a Maggie).

Not a massive fan of Delia tbh.
