I shouldn't be on 'Baby Names' or even thinking about them. I can't have another baby yet but I know I want another as soon as we're back on our feet financially... so what do you think of these names?

For a girl:

Beau
Blair
Anya

For a Boy:
Luca
Gabriel (Gabe)
Flynn

Beau's a boys name
Blair dont like
Anyas the best

Lucas the best
Gabriel dont like
Flynn ok

For girls: I like Anya. Are you in UK? Blair could still be difficult given the ex-PM's legacy. Beau is a boy's name - would you consider Belle?

For boys: I like Luca and Flynn. Gabriel is Ok, but doesn't do it for me, sorry.

Blair and Beau both say male to me, so I go with Anya.

I don't like Luca or Flynn but Gabriel is Ok.

I'd go for Anya or Gabriel.

Beau - not keen, and it's a boys' name
Blair - Tony Blair, ex prime minister
Anya - like, very pretty

Luca - prefer Luke as sounds more solid/less feminine
Gabriel (Gabe) - like, very nice name
Flynn - too surnamey

Anya or Gabriel - both lovely.

Beau - not keen - thought this was a boy's name?
Blair - No. I think "witch project"

For a Boy:
Luca - I think this is very faddy
Gabriel (Gabe) - lovely (also love Gabe - very nice)
Flynn - surname

I like Anya but don't like any of the other names, especially your boys names.

Don't like any of the girls' names, sorry - but Anya is the best of the bunch. Love Gabriel and Lucas/Luke though less fond of Luca.

Lucas is nice. Went to school with a horrible Luke so that name's ruined.

Anya and Gabriel are lovely.

The little girl in "Signs" is Bo (a girl's name ).

Bo is a Scandinavian boy's name: a few examples of well known holders: footballer, bodybuilder/weightlifter, Olympic fencer, another footballer,

(BTW, Bo Derek's real name is Mary: then again, Bo Jackson's real name is Vincent!)

I think the boys names are a bit girly though

Beau is French for handsome - I can never understand why people use this name (especially with the French masculine spelling) for a girl.

I know a woman who has named her daughter Beau - she goes round telling everyone it's French for beautiful and that it's a really spohisticated name -- mmmm!
Belle is the French feminine form of beautiful.
Blair - dreadful associations of Tony and Blair Witch Project (which is the scariest most disturbing film I've ever seen).
Don't like Luca unless one/both parents is/are Italian.
I love Gabriel and wanted it for my DS but my DP put his fut down - he thought he'd get called Gay at school.
DOn't like Flynn.
Not keen on Anya either.

For a girl:

Beau - no it's a boys name
Blair - no it's a surname
Anya - best of the three. OK

For a Boy:
Luca - only if there is Italian in the family
Gabriel (Gabe) - too girly for me
Flynn - no it's a surname.

Sorry that is 3 nos for the boys and a possible for the girls.

I only really like Gabriel. I know one, nn Gabe .

Only Anya and Gabriel. Don't like the others. Beau is a masculine form in French anyway. Anya is really nice though. I also like Lucas better than Luca. Don't know why.
