To me it's a boy's name (nn for Mikhail).

My first thought was Paris, Misha Paris, I think, is a celebrity of some sort :)

I think of it as a Russian boy's name.

I wonder whether the Barton OC connection has made it more popular for girls? It could date very easily IMO.

This is interesting... The two I know of are beautiful girls spelt Mica, and must be in their late teens (no Russian connection that I'm aware of). Do you think the spelling makes the difference then? And is Mischa pronounced the same, or is the 'c' sounded? Thanks all :)
