Hi,
My baby girl is due in June. We've already decided on christening her Elizabeth. We've trundled through our family trees to find a middle name to no avail! So have come up with 2 possibilities!! If born in June then we'll call her Rose (Rose is associated with June flowers!) If she arrives early in May then Lily (Lily associated with May flowers!)
So she'll be either Elizabeth Rose or Elizabeth Lily.
Do you guys like!!? I think they're both really pretty names!!

Don't like Elizabeth Lily - they sound way too similar imho.

Elizabeth is lovely.

Another flower for May is the May flower which is the flower found on the Hawthorn tree.

So maybe Elizabeth May could work too.

I think they are lovely choices by the way.

Elizabeth Rose is lovely :)

Elizabeth Lily does'nt sound right when you say it out loud for some reason and at some point someone will call her Lizzie (every Elizabeth I have known has had this) and Lizzie Lily is just not right...

Congrats on your DD BTW!

I like Elizabeth Rose - like your idea about the months and associated flowers.

I'm afraid I agree with others about Elizabeth Lily. I had also considered this due to family names, but it just doesn't work, sorry.

Elizabeth May is a lovely alternative suggestion.

Not Lily. I like the May suggestion.

Hi!
Thanks for your advice guys! Actually I've said "Elizabeth Lily" out loud several times since and you're all right... its doesn't flow! Thanks greenzebra for your your idea of Elizabeth May!! We all like that!!
She'll now be either Elizabeth Rose or Elizabeth May.

Thanks again for your help,
xx
