Any suggestions greatly appreciated!

erm it's a bit like 'how long is a piece of string' also it depends on your surname too and all sorts of other factors. Anyway if you can't think of a middle name why does he need one?

Louis Benjamin
Louis Frederick
Louis Daniel
Louis George
Louis Jacob
Louis Oliver

I think the best thing for middle names is to choose a name with family associations - eg your grandfather or related to something personal.

George
William
Jonathan
David

I agree with Greenwing, its nice to have a family connection for middle name. What are the fathers and grandfathers names for you and partner?

I agree with Louis Joseph, or possibly Louis Alexander or Louis James. Louis John is also very strong. All the J names work - he could be nicknamed LJ when he's older haha.

My partners dad is John and my dads name is Peter - couldn't really have one without the other so would have to be Louis John Peter Gotsell. Bit of a mouthfull?

No, sounds nice to me - and I'm sure they would be chuffed to bits.
