Loving the name Luella!

I was just looking through some posta and noticed a posters name Luella. I have instantly fallen in love with this name...what do you think?

Honestly? Ghastly. Reminds me of Cruella (de vil)

I have a good friend called Luella & think its a lovely name. It gets shortened to Lu quite often.

Go outside and yell it in an ozzie accent, see if you like it then. I know an Australian who called her dd Luana, almost as bad. They're a bit USA trailer park. IMHO.

There's a Luella at DS's preschool. It sounds charming with an Italian accent. Could you get everyone to cultivate one?

DD's BF at nursery is called Luella, nn Lulu. She's a very pretty and sweet little girl, it really suits her.

Luella Bartley is an English fashion designer.

I know a couple of luellas and it has always seems like a pretty name.
