I've got an Isabella - needing a boys name (5 weeks and counting and DH is name-dead). I really like Jaspar - DH will tolerate (I think). But with the whole Twilight craze, is it a bit obvious, overdone, vampire fanatic, too now?

sorry, not even seen Twilight but to me Jaspar/Jasper is a dog's name Hmm

I quite like Twilight and I quite like Jasper... it's quirky, cute for a little toddler lad running around I think. My dog is called Alfie but I know lots of little boys named that...hehe ;) ;) It's not like you are going to name him Edward - Bella and Edward - eek.

I don't think anyone will obviously think you're a vampire fanatic. Haha.

The only problem with it are the nn's. Jase, Jas, Jaz, Jez etc are all vile, and there's no way you'll be able to stop them once at school. That would be enough to [ut me off I'm afraid.

I know a little boy called Jasper now three. He's a sure individual! And it suits him well, very cute, very blonde long curls! I also have a friend around 30 called Jasper. He has red hair and used to be called Jasper Carrot.

But he was also very individual and a lovely guy.
