After telling close friends and family the babies name upon the arrival.

If you then send a group text would you put the pronounciation in the message.

Only if its not the usual one for that spelling I suppose, such as you are naming baby 'Ralph' but saying 'Rafe'
If it is the usual pronounciation then I wouldnt spell it out

I wouldn't put it in the first message. I would send a follow-up message straight away with "Just to let you know we've chosen the .... pronounciation for baby's name".
