How do you pronounce ELOISE?

If any of you have Eloise, do people often mispronounce it? Or do people call them as Elle or Ellie? Are your girls happy to be Eloise???

DD2's middle name is Eloise, and we pronounce it El OH EEZE.

She's 14 now and I still wish it was her first name instead.

Pronounced as if you were describing a small girl's toilet habits:

Ella wees (in her nappy)

Ello-eeze.

I think it's a lovely name and in 30 years of teaching have only ever come across it once.
